How to Download a Flash Game


Method 1 of 5: From any web browser

    Find the web page you want to download the game from.

    Copy the site's URL
  3. 3
    Go to file2hd.com and paste the copied url next to where it says "URL:".
  4. 4
    Press Ctrl + F and type in ".swf" and press enter.
  5. 5
    There should be two links that show up. Most of the time, both of the links are the same.

    Right click on one of the links and select "save link as" and direct where you want to save it.

    Load the web page you want to download the game from. Go to the website and locate the web page with the game. Wait for the game to load.

    Right-click anywhere outside the flash game in the Internet Explorer window and select "View Source" from the drop down list.

    Search. Click on the Notepad window that comes up and hit "Ctrl+f" and type in ".swf". It should be the first or second .swf.

    Copy URL. Copy the URL listed to Internet Explorer if it is only part of a URL then paste it right after the main URL i.e. www.addictinggames.com.

    Save. Hit "Ctrl+s"and select were you want to save it.

    Load the web page you want to download the game from. Go to the website and locate the web page with the game. Wait for the game to load.

    Right-click anywhere outside the flash game in the Safari window and select "View Source" from the drop down list.

    Search. Click on the window that comes up and hit "Ctrl+f" and type in ".swf". It should be the first or second .swf.

    Copy URL. Copy the URL listed to Safari if it is only part of a URL then paste it right after the main URL i.e. www.addictinggames.com.

    Load the web page you want to download the game from. Go to the website and locate the web page with the game. Wait for the game to load.

    Right-click anywhere outside the flash game in the Firefox window and select "View Page Info" from the drop down list.

    Go to the "Media" tab and sort the contents by type.

    Search for SWF file type and the name of your game.
  5. 5
    Right click and copy, then paste it into a download manager.

  • Take all generic internet safety measures. Make sure you have an anti virus up-to date and running. Download games only from trusted websites.
  • If you want to play the game, open it with a web browser. Google Chrome and Firefox normally work best.
