How to Secure a Computer From Hackers

Any computer that is currently connected to the Internet can potentially fall victim to hackers, but your computer is more likely to be a target where it is seen as weak or unprotected. Keeping your computer up to date and safely behind a firewall can keep hackers at bay, as they will likely continue searching for an easier target before going to the effort to breach your protections.

     Click on "Windows Update" and download the latest updates for your computer.

     Reboot your computer after installing the required updates.

     Click the "On" button to keep your computer safely guarded behind a firewall, preventing Internet traffic from indiscriminately accessing your computer.
